My Blogging Adventure

Finally my term is over!

This means that I was finally able to update my blog. That's why I have 3 or 4 posts for one day - they are some of the things I wished I could have said if I had a little more time in between classes. The one post that is missing is a typical day in Oxford where I talk about life here and what it is like to study at Oxford, but I am waiting for a picture from a friend before i write that one!

So this morning when I woke up I decided to get out of my crowded flat and head to somewhere a little more open to blog away. I headed out and went north to Port Meadow - common land since 1066 or so. North of Port Meadow is the ruins of Godstow Abbey, a nunnery from the time of King Henry VIII. After settling down on some ruins for lunch and some work I headed back across the meadows in between the horse herds, pass some sticky mud, over a brook, and back home to finish my blogs.
